Emma was born in Ireland and moved to New Jersey along with her family when she was 6 years old. Working her way through college running the front desk at a Renaissance Marriott, she went on to get an Associate’s degree at Bergen Community College in Hotel/Restaurant and Business Management.

Her professional experience has been mostly in the hospitality field. Emma has had an exciting career as a catering/event planner in NYC for almost a decade. She has had the opportunity to be a part of so many prestigious events, including the Museum Ball at the American Museum of Natural History, Warner Brothers Movie Premiers, and Thanksgiving Day Parade VIP events.

Emma has lived in the Hudson Valley for the past 10 years and made the decision when she first arrived upstate to stay home and raise her two boys, who are 8 and 10. She was able to take that opportunity to volunteer and fundraise at her children's schools and also coach their T-ball teams. Emma is so excited to have received this opportunity to use all the skills she’s established during her past careers and to grow and learn with Thayer Leadership.
