Experience
Michael Montelongo served as Chief Administrative Officer and Senior Vice President, Public Policy and Corporate Affairs and previously, as Chief Strategy Officer for Sodexo, Inc., the leading $9 billion, 133,000-person B2B and B2G facilities and hospitality solutions enterprise in North America. At Sodexo, he also had corporate P&L responsibility for a nationwide, multi-brand chain of 570 fast-casual restaurants.

Mr. Montelongo was a Senate-confirmed Pentagon appointee in the Bush White House. As the 19th Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Financial Management and Comptroller, he served as the Chief Financial Officer managing a $120+ billion budget and financing two major combat operations for the world’s largest military aviation and space force. After concluding his tenure at the Pentagon as Acting Secretary of the Air Force, Mr. Montelongo served on the NASA Advisory Council and later on the board of The Aerospace Corporation, the nation’s premier national security space and satellite mission assurance company. Previously, Mr. Montelongo was an executive with a global management consulting firm and a regional telecommunications company.

Mr. Montelongo completed a career in the U.S. Army that included line and staff assignments, a Congressional Fellowship in the U.S. Senate, a tour as special assistant to the Army Chief of Staff, and service as an assistant professor teaching economics and political science at West Point.
