Vittoria Rubino, Ph.D.
(St. John's University)
Instructional Design Specialist

Vittoria joins Thayer Leadership with a background in instructional design, professional development, and pedagogy. As a Student Support Specialist, Vittoria collaborated with faculty at institutions, such as SUNY Rockland and the U.S. Military Academy-West Point, to develop plans of action responsive to client needs, consult on curricular instruction and choices, conduct programmatic assessments, provide professional development and coaching to faculty, and much more. Most recently, as an Assistant Director of the Fusion Academy Westchester, she was responsible for ensuring the school's programs were robust, adaptable, and innovative; student outcomes were clear and measurable; and the teaching staff were well trained and supported.

Vittoria earned a Ph.D. in Composition & Rhetoric from St. John’s University, an M.A. in English from Iona College, and a B.A. in English with a minor in Education from Concordia College-Bronxville. Her academic work has been shared at national conferences and published in anthologies by Parlor Press and McFarland Press, as well as in peer reviewed journals. Needless to say, Vittoria is an avid, lifelong learner.

During her down time, Vittoria likes to hike with her fiancé and their three dogs, read good books, visit art museums, find good food, spend time with her family, and take nature photography.
