He has served for over 25 years as senior leader with Verizon Communications where he has worked in network operations, outside plant operations, construction, engineering, customer service, operations support, IT project management, and data services management. This unique parallel career has provided him the opportunity to leverage his military leadership experience with his corporate and private sector organizational management experience.

This exposure allowed him to both establish two new large organizations as well as dis-establish two others. He has driven strategic planning efforts for the Army Reserve a 200,000-person organization with an $8B operating budget. Glenn participated in the corporate culture change involving the breakup of AT&T; was educated and put into practice Baldrige and Deming Quality Management principles. As the Deputy Commanding General for the United States Army Reserve Command, he put into practice an organization wide cost management program, aligned operational support programs, and led the efforts to re-establish the organizational personnel strength of the command.
